Chef Gerard Herrfurth

Chef Gerard Herrfurth has a passion for delicious food and cooking. He graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America and worked in some of the regions finest Country Clubs, Restaurants, Hotels and Executive Dining Rooms. Gerard has had the privilege of spending extended time travelling, studying and dining through California and Northern Spain.


Through his work at several organic health food stores and restaurants, Chef Gerard also has a special expertise and awareness of local, sustainable and organic ingredients along with farm to table, health supportive and allergen free cooking. Chef Gerard would love to share his passion for good cooking with you.


What We Do…

Chef Gerard creates diverse, vibrant, flavorful, and elegant dishes for your event or family. Starting with the finest ingredients, toasted aromatic spices, savory seasonings and fragrant herbs, combined with their knowledge and imagination, provide the following services:

Personal Chef Services

Available for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly chef services. I will consult with you to discuss your needs and preferences, provide menu suggestions for your review, buy ingredients and come and cook for you.


Cocktail Parties

Assorted canapés, hor d’oeuvres, small plates, and appetizers. Can be either passed or stationary. Staffing available


Dinner Parties

Available for onetime events and celebrations. Menu suggestions based on type of event, seasonality and on your tastes and needs for your guests. Staffing available.

Cooking Lessons

Small groups, families or parties focused on cooking, tasting, fun and education culminating with a

sit-down meal


At clients request, we’ll provide locally sourced wholesome organic meat and poultry, nutritious organic produce, delicious local cheeses, dairy, and fresh, traceable, clean seafood.


Flavorful and vibrant recipes to satisfy client preferences and dietary needs, i.e. all- organic, gluten- free, dairy-free and vegan dishes prepared with refined elegance.
